Porto Finished runners-up in the group, finishing second to PSG, losing only to the group winners.  They have been strong in the competition – scoring 10, conceding 4.

James Rodríguez is a constant threat, they will look to dominate at home.

Stay@Home’s View

This will be a tactical battle.

Porto have a great defensive record in the league and in the Champions League having only conceded 13, they are also scoring plenty.

Malaga’s defence is shaky however away from Home they are well organised.

Malaga will look for an away goal, where as Porto will want the Home win.  Stay@Home believe Malaga will score but there will not be many goals in this game.

Stay@Home’s Best bets

  • Double Chance Porto Home win or draw.
  • Both Teams to Score
  • Under 2.5 goals

ars

Arsenal – Recent league form has not been bad, still not playing to full potential but wins against Stoke, Sunderland and West ham, a draw against Liverpool and the defeat to Chelsea have kept Arsenal in the hunt for 4th spot.

However a defeat in the FA Cup against Blackburn has again piled the pressure on Arsenal.

Arsenal on free-flowing form have the potential, but who know’s which team will turn up, the free-flowing or, the disjointed team riddled with mistakes.

Arsenal finished 2nd in the group, scoring in all but one game but also conceding in all but one.

Arsenal last 6 games – A victory in the Champions League would boost confidence.

Bayern Munich – 15 points clear at top of the Bundesliga it has been a truly great season for Bayern, Away from Home Bayern have won 10 of 11, conceding just 1 goal.

Bayern’s league record includes just 1 loss and 3 draws scoring 57 goals while only conceding 7, 15 less than any other team in the league.  Bayern have not conceded in the last 5 league games.

Bayern finished top of the Group Stage, with their form not as impressive as their league form, conceding 7 goals in 6 games then same amount as 22 league games.  Bayern scored in every Champions League game scoring a total of 15 with only Chelsea scoring more

Bayern’s last 6 games – A Treble is still on the cards for Bayern.

 STAY@HOME’S VIEW

Stay@Home believe this will be a very open game, both teams are very impressive going forward.  Arsenal are less impressive at the back however Bayern have been conceding in the champions league.  Arsenal struggled to break down Blackburn, Bayern will be well organised at the back.

Both teams will look to attack, with current form Bayern look the stronger team and will look to pile the pressure on Arsenal.

STAY@HOME’S BEST BETS

  • Both teams to score
  • Over 2.5 goals
  • Bayern Double Chance – Away win or draw
  • Likely Scores – 2-2 or Bayern to win 2-1
